The L-A-D Foundation manages a number of sites around
Missouri whose primary values are biological, geological, or cultural. Nine of
these are managed as Missouri Natural Areas through agreement with the Missouri
Department of Conservation. Two areas, Dillard Mill and Grand Gulf, are managed
as Missouri State Parks by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. In
addition the Foundation manages the Virgin Pine area along Highway 19 in Shannon
County, Cave Spring along the Current River, and nearly a thousand acres of
scenic easement lands which are included as part of Missouri's largest national
park, the Ozark National Scenic Riverways. Here is a listing of several of these areas with the best public
access; please click on each to read more about each site and for directions.
